Calculator inputs
Calculations are processed by this website. We do not request your name, address or account details to calculate a result. If you copy a scenario link, its URL includes your input values. Anyone with that link can read them. Links and request URLs may also appear in ordinary web-server logs.
Optional analytics
If you accept analytics, the site can load Google Analytics and record aggregate page visits and successful calculation events. These events do not include the prices or consumption you entered. Google Analytics uses cookies to help measure site usage. We use the existing analytics property for this website.
The local aggregate counter excludes recognised automated clients and limits repeat counts using a temporary keyed identifier derived from the network address and browser information. Raw addresses are not written to this counter. Temporary identifiers expire after a day and are removed when a subsequent event is processed. Aggregate daily totals may be kept to compare long-term usage. These are estimates of activity, not a count of identified people.
Choosing “No thanks” prevents these optional analytics requests. Your choice is stored in a first-party preference cookie for up to one year. You can reopen the choice using “Cookie settings” in the footer. Withdrawing consent stops future optional tracking and clears accessible analytics cookies; it does not erase data already processed.
Server logs and contact
Hosting infrastructure may keep ordinary access and security logs, including IP addresses, request URLs and browser information, to operate and protect the service. Their retention is managed by the site operator. If you email us, your email provider and ours process the message, and we receive the details you choose to include.
Questions or requests
For access, correction or deletion requests relating to information you have provided, contact the site operator. Include enough context to locate the relevant message or record. Avoid emailing sensitive personal information unnecessarily.
